Agriculturalists will starve...

Populations that are systemically supported by their own infrastructure tend to expand to the maximum size allowed by their environment. People are simply too big and have too much individual capability to engage in systemic support, as such we expand further than our locale supports forcing expansion of the locale itself. Eventually further expansion will not be possible due to limited availability of resources. The only stopping factor that seems to limit human expansion is death.
